Grand Finals Scheduling

The following process applies to the top 6 teams determined after Semifinals. All scheduling must be coordinated through our Match Coordinator & Internal Affairs Manager, RaiRei.


Initial Requirements

Each captain must plan schedules with all five potential opponents.


Scheduling Process

Captain Requirements

Team captains must:

  • Begin discussions immediately after top 6 confirmation
  • Contact each potential opponent
  • Propose and discuss viable match times
  • Consider all reasonable time proposals
  • Work towards mutually beneficial agreements

All potential matchup schedules must be finalized by the end of Finals week.


Schedule Management

Schedule Finalization

Once Grand Finalists are determined:

  • Teams must confirm previously agreed schedule with RaiRei
  • Schedule changes require:
    • Approval from both teams
    • Staff confirmation
  • Default to Finals week schedule if teams cannot agree on changes

Delay Requests

Teams may request a one-week delay when submitting final schedule.

Requirements:

  • Valid justification provided
  • Agreement from both teams
  • Staff approval

Fair Play Policies

Unfair Practices

The following are considered unfair scheduling practices:

  • Misrepresenting team availability
  • Pressuring teams into disadvantageous times
  • Using forfeit threats as leverage
  • Deliberately exploiting known team weaknesses
  • Making unreasonable demands
  • Showing unwillingness to compromise

Penalties

Teams found scheduling unfairly may face:

  • Forfeiture of Grand Finals spot
  • Replacement by previous opponent

Penalty decisions require:

  • Clear evidence of unfair practices
  • Full staff team review
  • Unanimous staff agreement
